Smiles4Miles, raising funds for Glasgow children’s hospital

Hi everyone!! Our names are Davie and Jay, we appreciate you taking the time to read about our mission “Smiles4Miles” We are going to ride our motorcycles from Glasgow all the way to Istanbul and back to raise money for The Glasgow children’s hospital charity.

The glasgow children’s hospital charity holds a very special place in our hearts as well as many others , so we have decided to raise money in aid of the amazing work they do and give something back. The glasgow children’s hospital charity do amazing work such as funding medical equipment and services to give children the best of care ,They also help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children.

We are going to be riding our super bikes from Glasgow to Istanbul which is approximately over 3000km and back again which is over 6000km !! This is going to be a challenge for us as the super bikes we are taking are not built for longevity and especially not in the heat we will be enduring! it really is a massive test for the bikes and ourselves! We will be passing through several European countries and will be checking in with you guys every 250 miles and keeping yous updated via social media platforms.

The staff at Glasgow childrens hospital have allowed us to complete our journey and make the hospital our final stop where we will do a cheque presentation and all donations will be giving to those who need it most.
