Hanlin and Smith Relief Fund
Donation protected
Hello everyone. Here recently, a part of my family had experienced some devastating circumstances in their home town. My brother, sister-in-law and her parents all experienced devastation on the night or March 13th. A tornado ravaged their home town of Winchester IN, which laid ruin to a good portion of the community. While hunkered down in their church, the tornado blew through the building like a wrecking train and tore down the walls... Right on top them. Because of God's good grace; Skylar, Whitney and Thesa were able to escape the wreckage with very little injuries. Scratches at most. Fortunately a load bearing wall fell, right they needed it to. Eric however, who ran to close doors and windows to keep his family safe, was not able to leave the ruble unscathed. He was rushed to the hospital to undergo jaw, leg and hand surgery.
To make matters worse, each family lost a vehicle in the tornado.
I have created this GoFundMe in hopes to raise donations in support of the upcoming hospital bills that the Hanlin's will be facing, as well as, help with cost of living while Eric will be recovering from surgery. He will be out of work for at 3 months while he rehabs and gets back to 100%.
Any and all additional donations that will be received will go towards helping both the Hanlin and Smith family's replace their family vehicle and all car seats that were lost to the storm ...
I am setting the bar high on the donation total but by all means, do not feel as if you have to contribute hundreds to help. Dollars add up! Anything you can donate will assuredly help them get their lives back to normal.
Thank you
