My name is Dineen Perez and I would like to tell you about some friends of mine- Sherrie is a Manager at a yogurt company and Tracy is an Assistant Principal at a local Middle School. On November 18, 2016 they will be adopting a sibling group. This sibling group was split into three different foster homes before Tracy and Sherrie decided to foster.
Sherrie and Tracy's parents fostered and then adopted 3 of their younger siblings and knew they wanted to follow in the same footsteps. They had planned to adopt two maybe three kids, but when they heard about 6 kids that were split up, they knew that wanted to keep all 6 kids together and volunteered to foster all of them. And now they will be adopting them!
They have both gone the non-traditional routes in life. They haven't ever gotten married, but they knew they wanted to be parents. Many people look at them as though they are odd because they are adopting these kids as sisters and aren't married. To them its about these kids and growing their family with love and hope, which is how their parents raised them.
I am creating this gofundme account for them to help them get started on this beautiful journey. They are two selfless women who care more about the wellbeing of six siblings who would have grown up a part, than themselves.
There need to be more Tracy's and Sherrie's in the world.
