On December 6, 2019, my family’s life flashed before our eyes. At approximately 1pm I received a phone call from one of my neighbors that the house was on fire. I dropped my phone and had to caught my breath. I immediately stopped everything I was doing to rush home. Pull up to the house not being able to get to the home because it was completely surrounded and blocked off my body got num and weak as I fell to the ground. All I could think of is if anyone was in the house, what was we going to do because this is the only home the kids know, how do we move forward from here. It was devastating to know that I had to get my kids out of school only to tell them we had no home to return to. We lost everything because 80% of the house was burned and everything that wasn’t burned has water damage because the fire was so extreme that the fire department had to go through all areas of the house to control the fire. We are starting the fundraiser to help us replace some of the things we lost although most of the things our family can never be replaced like the memories, family photos, and other things the family cherish. We are just looking for help to get back to a comfortable place in life and soon enough a place to call home again. We continue to pray to God because we know everything happened for a reason so we don’t question Gods plan. Any and everything is greatly appreciate.
