"Snake Tooth": Student short film
Donation protected
At the end of the civil war a young woman conspires to retrieve her brother's remains by manipulating the Confederate Officer who took his life. This is the subject of our upcoming project “Snaketooth”, which will be made into a 20 minute western short in the fall of 2021. The piece tackles morality in a time of war and the value of human life. The film will be shot entirely by a crew of students at the University of Texas at Austin. Storytelling is our greatest passion and we can not wait to get to share our finished film projects and see people transported into the world we create. Any funds donated will go towards the physical production costs for the short and any submission fees for festivals. Any donation is massively appreciated and would go towards helping us develop our passions further. The short will be made over the course of about six days of shooting going at a rate of around four hours per scene. We would shoot starting October 17th to the 18th then shoot again the following weekend from the 23rd to the 24th finally we would finish any makeup or remaining shots from the 6th to the 7th. This would mean funding would preferably be finished by around October 10th so we can get a full idea of our budget.
