Fighting for Finn
Donation protected
Finn is a handsome, inquisitive, rambunctious 3 year old and our grandson. (Many of you already know Jake chose to move to Romania so Delia and Finn could be close to her family.)
On November 1 during a hiking trip he became extremely ill. He was rushed to the nearest children’s hospital and immediately admitted. Through a series of testing a tumor was found in the orbital lobe of his brain. He was then transferred to the Brain Institute of Romania to have the small peach sized tumor removed. The biopsy results contained negative cells that resulted in a diagnosis of Ependymoma Grade 2. Ependymoma is a rare primary central nervous system tumor. This means it begins in the brain or spinal cord.
Finn is to undergo costly radiation/ chemotherapy treatments, which will require traveling outside of Romania. Unfortunately pediatric oncology is not readily available in Romania. Our goal is to ease the burden of medical expenses, travel expenses and the loss of income Finns parents will face while seeking treatment for Finn.
Thanking you in advance for your support, including prayers!
