Snowboarder Flyinbrian Chases Olympic Dreams

Hi I’m FLYINBRIAN AKA Brian Rice II, a 16 year-old Pro Snowboarder from Farmington, Michigan. I currently train on the Ski and Snowboard Club VAIL Elite Olympic Development Team. I earned invites twice in 2019 to attend Snowboard Project Gold. U.S. Snowboard Project Gold brings together the top junior athletes in the country for a progressive talent development camp. I also was invited to train at SAAS Fee Switzerland Stomping Ground Park from 10/3/19-10/27/19 with all of the National Olympic Snowboarders and Skiers.  In 2020, I earned invites to represent the US at World Rookie Tour Finals in Austria in both Pipe and Slope ~ it was cancelled due to Covid and I will go in April 2021. Also, in 2021 I earned invites to the US Revolution Tour in Pipe, Slope and Big Air. This will be my second Men’s Big Air ~ I placed 9/64 at my 1st NORAM in Canada in 2020. My goal in 2021 is to earn an invite to the US Rookie Slope team in May and to be the first African American Snowboarder on the US Snowboard Team and to compete in the Olympics....in 2022 history will be made!
