In 2026, Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form will open SNS Hub. A new multifunctional site, sitting opposite to the main school. The exciting new provision will house both an Additional Resource Provision (ARP) and SNS Media Studios.
SNS Media Studios will provide an industry standard content creation facility for students studying media courses, whilst also being available to hire to the local community. In collaboration with Hackney Education the ARP will provide specialist and targeted support for EHCP students with Social, Emotional, Mental Health (SEMH) as their primary need.

SNS Media Studios
Our aim is to create an enhanced learning environment for students, equipping them with first-hand experience of a modern media suite and fostering an interest and engagement in the media industry. Unlike the constraints of learning in a classroom, SNS Media Studios will better prepare our students, whilst bridging the gap between education and the realities of working in a real studio environment. We are also passionate about increasing global majority representation within the creative industries and feel this facility would go a long way in helping us to achieve that.
Whilst offering an excellent hireable facility in the heart of our community we hope to collaborate with local creative businesses to provide work experience and enrichment opportunities to further enhance the learning of SNS students.
SNS Media Studio spaces will include:
• Green Screen Studio with U-shaped infinity cove
• Photography Studio
• Lighting Control & Live-tethered editing desk
• Hybrid Studio for sound recording, design & editing plus advanced video editing
• ADR-Foley Studio
• Editing Suite
• Storage Room
• Café
• Multi-use Hall (a perfect breakout space)
SNS ARP
The aim of the ARP is to raise academic outcomes of students with SEMH as their primary need, both across the main school and those supported with their learning via the SNS ARP. A creative curriculum, co-planned by Stoke Newington School and education and health care professionals will ensure young people are equipped with a range of qualifications. ARP students will follow a bespoke timetable that allows them to access their education across both sites, which will vary depending on their interests and level of need. The ARP curriculum will be interlinked with a range of therapeutic interventions and enrichment opportunities, all of which aim to develop both students personal and work skills, and ultimately prepare them for adulthood.
The ARP’s ambitious offer is continuing to be developed in collaboration with Hackney Education. More information will available soon.
ARP facilities include:
• Various Classrooms & Small Group Rooms
• Café (ran by SNS students)
• ICT Suite
• Food Tech Suite
• Student Garden and Allotment
• Outdoor Playground Facilities including Sports Court
• Calm Room & Therapy Spaces
• Meeting Rooms
• Staffroom, Offices & Reception
• ARP students will also benefit from access to all SNS Studio spaces
Fundraising Support
Our ambitious plans for the SNS Hub rely upon the school raising additional funds to cover the fitout and equipment within each of the spaces shown above. We are particularly interested in building partnerships with local businesses and organisations that can offer financial support, equipment donations, or opportunities to work with our students. Your support, or simply sharing of our SNS Hub website links will be greatly appreciated and will help us to deliver the best possible provision for students.
Your support and contributions towards the provision will be greatly appreciated and will allow us to deliver the best possible provision for students.
