Snuggle Bug Farm Fundraiser

Snuggle Bug Farm specializes in producing certified organic vegetables, flowers and medicinal herbs in Northwest Arkansas. Farmers Brendan and Liesel are proud to grow nutrient dense food and plant medicine for communities throughout the Ozarks. We feel honored to engage in this meaningful work. Starting a farm is expensive, especially for first generation farmers building a business from the ground up. We are launching this fundraiser in hopes of gaining more capital to invest in infrastructure improvements on the farm so we can increase production and expand our team.

We farmed together around the country for the last decade, and had the opportunity to develop several farms as we gained experience working with vegetable production and farm-based education. We are both passionate about community health, and have been working towards the dream of starting our own farm together since we first met at the MSU Student Organic Farm back in 2012. After years of saving and gaining experience, we finally had the opportunity to purchase property in 2022, and just finished our first growing season supplying local grocery stores and food hubs with certified organic produce.

We've taken out debt to buy land and start developing the property, and continue to work full time off the farm in order to help finance our vision of a thriving farm ecosystem that helps support community health. We deeply appreciate any contributions from our extended network to continue carrying out this important work. The money raised through this infrastructure improvement fundraiser will be used for finishing our pack shed, commercial kitchen, and herbal apothecary. Any additional funds will go towards hoop houses to support winter greens production.
