Snuggle Pouches for the Humane Society

The Humane Society can be a great place for people to go and adopt animals to bring into their loving home. But it also can be a place where these loving animals are scared and confused at what is going on around them. Small Animals are scared and tend to be more skittish than the other bigger pets we usually think of when it comes to adopting from the Humane Society.

We have invented what we like to call the Snuggle Pouch. Having adopted 2 guinea pigs from the Humane Society, we wanted to give them the best life they could have and help them enjoy their new environment to the fullest. Most small animals, especially Guinea pigs, are burrowing critters by nature. Bringing comfort and a place to lounge around to small animals provides a comfortable place they will feel at ease with.

• These can be and have been used with Guinea pig, hedgehog, ferret, chinchilla, Gerbils, Hamsters, Mice, Bunny, exc and can help these animals during their stay at the Humane Society. 

We donated 20 of these last winter to The Baltimore County Humane Society in hopes to help their small animals during their stay and keep warm during the winter months. This winter, we are hoping to donate over 150 of these to the local humane societies in Maryland. The funds we receive will be used to buy materials to make the Snuggle Pouches and will be delivered to the local Humane Societies.

• The snuggle pouches can be washed and dried in any common household washer/dryer which makes them great and easy to clean in these facilities.
