So Grateful to be Blessed for a second chance

My name is Anthony Molinar, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 7 years old. Over the years I made poor decisions that resulted in losing my left eyesight. In 2019, my diabetes resulted in End-Stage Renal failure. In 2020, I was put on peritoneal dialysis and listed for a kidney/pancreas transplant.

On Saturday, February 4, 2023, I received "the call" for my recent kidney/pancreas transplant. My surgery for the kidney/pancreas was on Sunday, February 5, 2023, at Medical City Hospital Dallas. I spent 4 days in ICU and 7 days in recovery. My hospital stay was pretty extensive involving the transplant team of great surgeons, outstanding doctors and wonderful medical staff who sought my intense medical care.

Now that I have been released and am on the road to recovery. I will be living temporarily in Dallas for continued doctor's care and clinic for the next 3-6 months to ensure my organs are healthy and stable.

I now have to worry about medical and living expenses while I reside in Dallas. Although I have an amazing support system. I am on a fixed income. It worries me that I may not be able to cover all of the expenses while temporarily living in Dallas.

Any donations are greatly appreciated. Please feel free to share my story with friends and family.
