So the house burned to the ground

"First of all, we are so grateful for the amount of support we've had since the fire. As you can see from the photo we literally lost everything except the clothes on our back and a few small items that we grabbed on the way out. Honestly, I thought the fire was going to be put out and we would be just dealing with some smoke and water damage. Unfortunately, the elements were too much that night and within 15 minutes, the whole house was engulfed in flames. As I said, there have been so many people reaching out to help in so many ways that it has restored my faith in humanity. We have a long road ahead of us but we will build it back better.
