Society for Research and Support (DIP)

Hello!

We are the Society for Research and Support (Drustvo za Istrazivanje i Potporu - "DIP" in Croatian) and we work with young people with developmental and learning disabilities (such as intellectual disabilities, dyslexia, dysgraphia), behavioral disorders (ADHD, Autism Spectrum), psychosocial functioning disabilities (as a result of mental illness, chronic diseases, emotional problems), young people in a NEET position (not in education, employment, training), and other who need support).

Our goal is to prevent institutionalization, empower our young people, and allow them to develop the skills needed to find a job.

Why are we doing this? We are collecting donations to help with the renovations of our facility. Specifically, these are for the construction of new washrooms and the renovation of our kitchen so that we can meet the requirements for providing social services and maintain our license from the Ministry of Labour, Pensions, Family, and Social Policy. Your donation will help us keep doing our work and allow us to continue providing support to our community.

We were founded in 2013 in Rijeka, Croatia to improve citizens' lives, prevent social exclusion, promote healthy lifestyles, humanity, and solidarity, and support groups who traditionally have fewer opportunities. We are experts in various fields - social pedagogues, special educators-rehabilitators, teachers, doctors, sociologists, psychologists, artists, and simply people who have a lot of love and enthusiasm for others.
