No one is immune to suffering. The homeless community is often something people try to avoid, complain about or think it won't happen to them. In reality it can happen to anyone who looses a job, falls ill, suffers from addiction, or loses a battle with debt. It's a reality that can not be ignored.
Charlie and Renee Nash have made it their personal mission to hand out socks to Denver's homeless community. They collect donations to purchase socks in bulk to hand them out in person.
Giving the homeless this gift of warmth not only helps them through the cold months but helps them see that we care about them and that they aren't forgotten.
