Socorro Roque Calma's Celebration of Life

Hello, my name is Deanaletta Seif.

I am here to raise funds for my grandmother, Socorro Calma. On February 22nd, 2022, our beloved grandmother, mother, and friend passed away.

My grandmother was a resilient, kind-hearted, loving woman. She had a personality bigger than life itself. Everyone who met her fell instantly in love with her beautiful soul and deeply admired her compassion for others. My grandmother was the most generous, giving person I have ever met. She never turned down an opportunity to help her friends, her family, her community or even a stranger.

Soccoro means help, and my grandmother could not possibly have been named more faithful to her nature.

Now, my grandmother, family, and I need your support more than ever.

We need your assistance to ensure we can give my grandmother the celebration of life she deserves. With your help, we can honor my grandmother's memory and support her many loved ones as we continue to navigate these difficult circumstances. Perhaps the most essential final request my grandmother made was to be appropriately transported back to her home in the Philippines following her passing, where she can be happily reunited with her homeland and other loved ones. It is crucial to us that we can follow my grandmother's wishes to the best of our ability. However, the cost of transporting our loved one, coupled with outstanding medical expenses, and other financial responsibilities, has proven this to be a challenging request to grant.
