SocSecDis recip. unexpected expense help needed
Donation protected
Not sure what to do, where to turn, so I turn to you my friends, as I'm on Social Security Disability (since 2004) and cannot deal with this unexpected expense...
I am in need of help that will provide immediate help/relief and which will help prevent potential upcoming concerns (future problems I cannot afford), that will resolve immediate help due to Storm damage and that this would prevent potential worse situation that could then resolve in need for Insurance Claim that would then potentially raise my Insurance policy increase during my already blown Budget being blown by ever increasing inflation...
If I cannot get this addressed, may land up in Legal concern, for neighbor's property damage going forward if I can't get the Tree removed and future storm may not be so "kind" and actually drop major limbs on my or neighbors Garage causing major roof or other structural damage (that likely the Insurance company would declare ACT OF GOD and not help cover)...
OK, GOING TO NEED TREE TRIMMING SERVICE recommendations... Asking not just for myself as I know so many others in the same boat. My very old backyard tree indeed had several large limbs come down in the storm, and are still down with power lines under them waiting on Wyandotte Municipal Service to respond (hopefully they will deal with the wreckage that have the Lines under there that we as Residents therefore cannot risk dealing with). What I'm inquiring about here is that once this mess is all cleaned up I'm probably going to have to break-down and have additional work done on/with/to that tree to clean it up some more to avoid it happening again the next time we get high-winds and/or ice-storm. WHAT TREE TRIMMING SERVICES DO YOU RECOMMEND. Yes, of course, well aware of BLAIR and well aware of the LARGE PRICE TAG that comes with them, and I am on Social Security Disability and as likely obvious cannot really afford this UNEXPECTED EXPENSE. HOPE is great, but it is not a strategy. HOPING that all that was "unstable and likely to have come down" in the last storm didn't work, and I should therefore not just rely on HOPE again this time as next time falling limbs may not just snag the power lines but indeed CRUSH MY OWN OR A NEIGHBORING GARAGE (if not my own Home, as one branch yanked down not just the power-line but the DROP along the House (dislodged it from the Home and is lying on the Patio waiting on WyaMunSvcs to respond and hoping they will cover/address (but thankfully no sparking and the power is still up/on in my Home, for now) that indeed could have (again, thankfully, maybe only by the Grace of God) didn't crush my Roof).

The Bad News keeps coming...
The Electrical Work $1,500
I MIGHT be able to get Home Owners Insurance to cover that portion of this whole/overall situation, but I have a $1k Deductible, plus they would then (of course) raise my Rates, so it is better for the long run for me to NOT proceed with such a Claim (and they STILL might likely deny the Claim anyway as ACT OF GOD as the Damage caused by Ice/Wind Storm).
Part of the Trim on my Garage was ripped down too, but that is frankly only a cosmetic thing and something I am not going to worry about having fixed.
So, yes, now I'm adjusting the request to $6k.
