Support Sofia & her family

Dear family & friends, I would love to celebrate my birthday this year by greatly improving the lives of a few remarkable souls. Particularly, the lives of my sponsor child Sofia & her family who live in southern Honduras.

Sofia is 11 years old. She has a huge heart for animals & and a passion for painting. Her favorite subjects are art and math. Sofia is receiving exceptional grades & her success in school will be the best chance she has to earn a scholarship in order to break the curse of extreme poverty in her lineage.

It is with great fortune that I have had the opportunity to sponsor Sofia through Compassion International for the last 5 years. While visiting in March, I witnessed the extremity of her poor living conditions & the unbearable heat that they endure daily.

The average working age in her area is between 20-35 years old. In Honduras, it is extremely difficult to find work beyond these ages. Although Sofias parents have many skills, such as masonry, welding, contracting & cooking, they are also in their early 40’s and have been eager to find work for quite some time.

My goal is to raise enough to meet Compassion International’s annual maximum donation of $1,100 by 4/30. I have started a go-fund me in honor of my sweet Sofia. It is with the utmost gratitude that I ask for your willingness to support this beautiful family in dire need. Even the smallest contribution makes a massive impact on their vitality.
