Friday the 13th 2023 changed our lives forever. Our precious Angel Sofia Valentina Taurino passed away in her sleep. Nothing could prepare us for this feeling of desperation and devastation. My wife carried Sofia longer than we were able to enjoy her, Sofia passed away at 8 and a half months old.
We have seen tough times but we have never seen this type of rock bottom before, three days after our daughter passed we had to celebrate her brother’s third birthday and it was extremely difficult since they were two peas in a pod. We took the boys trick or treating yesterday and it was heart wrenching knowing we bought 4 costumes and our princess doesn’t get to wear her first costume.
We have not been able to organize a memorial yet because we felt a funeral home was no way to honor her beautiful smile and we have had a difficult time selecting an urn. We would like to have a memorial in a natural setting since Sofia loved being outdoors and enjoying the sounds of nature.
Sofia Valentina Taurino is survived by her mother Nykole Lewis, her father Federico Taurino and her three brothers Brody, Hunter and Jack.
We are asking for support during these difficult times we are facing. We would like to honor our princess and allow her loved ones to come together and celebrate that everlasting smile.
