Sofia’s funeral and medical bills

Update: Our deepest thanks to all of you for your overwhelming generosity and support during this terrible time. We are profoundly appreciative for you - our family, friends, and colleagues - for rallying around us. We see you, and we are so grateful. Sofia was a free spirit, a sweet soul, complicated and beautiful, and way too young to leave us. She had aspirations to become an EMT and dreams for a family of her own someday. She was fiercely loved. She was our world. We are brokenhearted, and we'll love and cherish her memory to the end of our days. We're slowly moving forward. Your help and your kind words have made this awful path a bit easier to trudge. Planning for a celebration of Sofia's life is underway. We will have more details in the coming days. "Thank you" doesn't seem to express adequately the depth of our gratitude for your humanity and graciousness. Nonetheless, from the bottom of our broken hearts, thank you all.
