Dear Friends + Family,

I have very exciting news that I have been selected to represent Senior England at the 2024 World Lacrosse Box Championships in Utica, NY this September.

This is the first ever Women’s Box Lacrosse World Championships for Team England and I am so proud to be playing for my country. For those of you that may not know, Box lacrosse is a high intensity indoor version of field lacrosse, there are 6 players on each team with full contact - it is extremely fast and physical! It is a very similar version that will be played in the Olympics in LA 2028 – I hope to be there too!

Just to give you some background on my lacrosse journey – I found my love for the game at my junior school and have succeeded in progressing through the player pathway from England regional academy to England national academy. I have represented England at U18 level captaining the team against Wales, Scotland and Czech Republic and in 2024 I became part of the U23 Senior England Development Squad. I also play at Blues Ladies Lacrosse Club where I was part of the winning team at the European Championships 2023 in Barcelona.

Now this is where I am asking for your help! To date my lacrosse career has been entirely self-funded with the support of my parents along with working all the hours I can, whilst juggling my A-levels and training. I currently have summer jobs babysitting, house sitting, dog sitting, working at stables and coaching to pay for my kit, training and travel costs.

Representing England Lacrosse at all levels is unfortunately not government funded. Whilst there has been huge progress in Women’s sport in general, it is still doesn’t receive much financial support. The more opportunities we have to compete Internationally, the more chance there will be for young female athletes.

I realise this is a big ask but if you can spare any pennies to help me on my journey it would be hugely appreciated. Any contributions to my Go Fund Me Page will go directly towards my travel, accommodation, kit, training fees, facilities, medical team, nutrition and insurance. I promise I will do my absolute best for England and make you all proud.

If I happen to receive anything over and above the cost of the World Championships, this will go towards securing a scholarship at a US university to pursue lacrosse and my Olympic Dream of playing in LA 2028.
