Solar for School in Buhoma Uganda

My name is John and I live in Brooklyn.  I recently visited Uganda and was taken to this school in a remote village.  Being on the equator the day light hours are from 6 am to 6 pm, so these rooms grow dark in the evening.  As you can see even during the day they are not well lit inside.  I wanted to provide them with a solar power system that will light up these rooms and allow the students to use the rooms in the evening to do homework and further their studies.  I have friends I can trust who live in this community so I know the money will be well spent.  I was a Peace Corps volunteer in Uganda 25 years ago.  Going back was amazing but made me realize that I got back far more from my experience than I gave.  To be able to do this for this school would be one small way for me to say thank you to the people of Uganda.
