Puppies and Soldiers = Search and Rescue Teams!!
Lets help these soldiers make the transition from active military to civilian life!
Returning Soldier Initiative has partnered with one of the largest national groups; Search and Rescue Dogs of the United States to provide an opportunity for our soldiers to continue to serve their communities, to provide individual and family support, and to ultimately save lives.

Corporal Andrew B Rupp, 82 Airborn Division
Please meet Andrew Rupp!
Andrew is currently serving in Afghanistan . He is returning stateside in a two months and wants to continue to serve as a search dog handler in Michigan .
Help us support Andrew by donating today!
A special litter of SAR dog puppies is on its way for Andrew and five other soldiers!!
These soldiers and their puppies will recieve specialized training for search and rescue. Eventually they will be deployed to save lives!
Our returning soldiers have the skills to continue to make a difference in our lives. It could be the family of a child that goes missing or our communities after a natural disaster. We need your support to make this happen.

John Mras who served three tours as a military working dog handler has continued to serve! Six months ago he met his new SAR dog prospect Amber and they have joined Idaho Mt SAR! Here is a story about John and his military working dog that passed before joining this program: http://www.idahostatesman.com/news/local/military/article112213772.html
