Soledad Contreras and Family
Donation protected
On behalf of the Contreras family, we would like to reach out to friends, family, and community for support. This past June, one month after the unexpected loss of her son; Soledad Contreras was diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) which is when your bone marrow doesn't make enough healthy blood cells. With a high risk of developing Leukemia and losing her life; Soledad has undergone multiple rounds of Chemotherapy in preparation for a bone marrow transplant. On Christmas week, Soledad received her transplant but now needs to stay in Palo Alto until March under close monitoring.
Before the transplant, Soledad spent multiple weeks admitted to our local hospital, visited the ER weekly for life-saving blood transfusions, and will now need to reside in Palo Alto for a few more weeks. Our family is still feeling the massive loss of losing our beloved JC and would appreciate your financial and or spiritual help as we continue to support Soledad through this difficult treatment. We thank you for your help and appreciate all of your prayers!
Current update: Soledad's body is responding to the transplant. She is still very sick but we continue to trust in God and pray that he allows her to come home soon!
