Solid Rock Bible Camp Wake Gear Fundraiser

Our story:

My wife Megan and I have had the opportunity to serve as wakeboard coaches and boat drivers at Solid Rock Bible Camp located in Soldotna, Alaska for the past two years. After an invitation by Matt Manzari that can only be described as God's perfect timing, we fell in love with the mission and opportunities provided at Solid Rock. Solid Rock Bible Camp has been offering wakeboard/water ski camp for several years, teaching kids how to wakeboard, wakeskate, water ski and pretty much any other water sport for one week every summer. Every year wake coaches volunteer their time to help campers send it! The camp runs on two lakes with four boats, which means that each camper has several sessions on the water per day. This past year was extra meaningful to Meg and I, because not only did we coach the camp, but our oldest son actually attended the camp! The equipment provided by the camp has all been donated through the years, and has been very well loved, BUT they are in desperate need of new wakeboards and bindings! We want future campers to have the opportunity to ride newer and nicer equipment, so they can continue progressing their riding and learning new skills, further encouraging their love for wake sports!

Bottom line: We want to raise enough funds to cover at least eight new setups, including wakeboards, binding, ropes, and handles for Solid Rock Bible Camp.

Transparency: The money raised will solely be used to purchase new wake equipment for Solid Rock Bible Camp and to cover shipping costs. Any funds raised in excess of the $4000 goal will be donated directly to Solid Rock Bible Camp's coach fund, which covers the cost of airfare for coaches all over the world who volunteer their time with the campers. The money will be deposited directly into my personal business account to order at cost through Mohawk Board Co. The equipment purchased will be sent directly to the camp.
