Solidarity: Support Lucas' Treatment in Jamaica!
Tax deductible
ALL POWER TO THE PEOPLE! My name is Auntie Frances and I am a lifelong Black Panther here in Oakland, California. October is Black Panther Month and this month honors the work and legacy of the Black Panthers. I am observing BLACK PANTHER MONTH this year by supporting a a young boy suffering from paralyzing meningitis in Jamaica.
In honor of Black Panther Month will you join me in standing in solidarity and supporting this child in dire needs with a contribution towards Lucas' treatment?
About Lucas
For the last 6 years, I have been traveling to Jamaica and meeting people in rural areas. One family I’ve grown close is a 28 year old single mother and her four kids. Two of her four children have birth defects.
Her son Lucas stopped moving and responding at the age of 1. He’s now 5 years old. Some local doctors say it’s meningitis but have been unable to help him and he needs to go to a treatment center in a near by city. Due to the distance and lack of money, Lucas hasn’t been able to get the proper medical care to diagnose or treat his disability. His mother needs $2500 so she can bring Lucas to treatment and start his medical care. I hope you will join me this black panther month in helping Lucas get the care he needs!
