Solis Family Fire Recovery

Monse and Lilly Solis lost their home in Lajitas to a fire on Friday, March  17th. Long time residents of the Big Bend, it had been their home for the last 30 years. The fire was catastrophic and destroyed everything.
Luckily, their 3 little dogs are fine, but even they lost their favorite bowls and toys. 

The Big Bend is known for its sense of community, we care about each other here and we care for each other  when we need help. Lilly was at our house, watching our son Leo when it happened. Besides raising her own kids, she has been a kind and wonderful "auntie" to so many area families.

Many people have stepped forward and offered assistance, the response has been big and genuine.  It will take a lot of energy, time and money for these sweet people to get "home" again. 

Please donate what you can- maybe because you've known them for years and you know what wonderful people they are. Maybe you'll donate because you know bad things happen to good people sometimes, and that's when good people step in to help out.
