Solomon Families Emergency Rebuild Fund

We, the children of the Solomon family, are urgently asking for your help and support.  Our parents and two of our brother’s families lost their homes and everything they possessed including our father's entire music studio in the Moshav Mevo Modi’in fire crisis in Israel.  They are a total of 6 adults and 8 children:

Benzion & Dina Solomon
Yosef & Cookie Solomon and children Sihara, Maya and Eliyah
Sruli & Elisheva Solomon and children Elisha, Liel, Odeya, Shirel and Choshen

Video of Cookie and Elisheva returning for the first time since the fire to where their homes had been:

The solomon family has brought the world so much joy and spirit through their Jewish music. For decades they opened their homes to anyone who wished to experience a Carlebach Shabbos on the Moshav and used their common garden for communal musical havdallahs and melaveh malkas.

Sruli Solomon, whose wooden home was consumed completely is Head of Security and has dedicated himself to the Moshav along with his wife Elisheva who served on the Moshav’s council (VA’AD).

Yosef and cookie Solomon had moved into their brand new wooden home, built above our parent’s house, exactly one year ago on the date of the fire. It has vanished, completely consumed by the fire.

They had 15 minutes to leave their homes. They walked out with the clothes on their bodies and that's all.  Please help us help them rebuild their lives and continue the holy work they were put here to do.

Thank you,

Noah & Lisa Solomon
Yehuda & Naomi Solomon

What will the money be used for?

This money will go towards:

1) Replacing basic furniture and appliances such as refrigerator, water & Dryer, couch, bookcases, dining room table & chairs, beds and dressers

2)Replacing the items needed for our family to earn a living. They are musicians that lost all of their instruments. Our father lost his entire musical studio. Instruments and equipment need to be replaced, as well as computers so that they can continue to earn a living. Our mother needs a dehydrator to continue her cracker business in order to survive month to month.
