Solomon Rasta Community Project

This is our project to help the Solomon Rasta Community (Ocean View - Cape Town, South Africa)

The current initiatives on the go:
Solar solutions to 69 dwellings
A school room for preschool education (built in Hemp-crete)
Class room set up and educare program

The Solomon Square Community have been living on the slopes of the Ocean View mountain range belonging to the South African National Parks (SANPARKS) For 38 years the community have been championing the cause to have their presence and community recognised and be serviced by the City of Cape Town. It is a generational dream to see that transition happen. As we speak these documents are being finalised for a historic landmark event

Sunshack NPC met with the City of Cape Town to help assist with the immediate needs of the community whilst the commercial transition takes place. The some of the community have POORLY PROVISIONED SOLAR, some with no power and live without services in very modest conditions

We are currently bringing a solar solution to the community which includes: solar panels, batteries, intelligent solar controllers and lighting
