Solutions for Wellness 2016 is a two-day conference and awards banquet that aims to establish dialogue between healthcare providers, activists, and those living with HIV, mental health issues, and substance abuse.
Solutions has taken place many times over the years and is organized by transgender advocate and activist Dee Curry.
We need your help to get closer to our goal of improving conditions of those in our community impacted by these heath issues. Solutions for Wellness envisions a future where suffering from HIV, mental health issues, and substance abuse is eradicated--but we need your help to get there.
Conference: September 22nd from 9am-4pm at the Public Welfare Foundation, located at 1200 U St NW, Washington, D.C.
Awards Banquet: September 23rd from 5pm- 9pm at the Metropolitan Community Church of D.C., located at 474 Ridge St NW, Washington, DC 20001
The conference will consist of multiple workshops lead by community-based organizers and health care providers, and will also feature a panel of individuals living with HIV, mental health issues, and substance abuse.
