Help someone survive winter in the wilderness

After a series of unfortunate events, the beneficiary of this fundraiser, someone I love dearly, my sister, Wanda, needs help. I am not in a position to help as my family is going through our own series of events.

Wanda possesses a profound love for nature, a passion for sustainability, and an unwavering commitment to living in harmony with the environment. learning how to survive with minimal resources. But now, as winter approaches, she faces an incredible challenge, alone.

The wilderness, which has provided so much beauty and tranquility, turns into a formidable foe during the long and harsh winter. Temperatures plummet, and a thick blanket of snow covers the land, isolating one from the outside world. The only means of survival during this period is a reliable 4-wheel-drive vehicle. She has been donated a vehicle, but it needs costly repairs.

With winter rapidly approaching, she is facing a dire situation. The closest water source is miles away, so she is left without this essential element of life. Traveling to the nearest town, even for the simplest supplies, becomes an insurmountable challenge. And the thought of facing these brutal conditions without a reliable vehicle is a daunting one.

The funds will repair the used 4-wheel drive vehicle in order to survive the coming winter on a mountain wilderness homestead. The closest bus stop is over 7 miles away. There are no taxis, Uber or Lyft.
