Someone who deserves the help

Hey, my name is Destiny Wood. I'm starting this go-fund me page for someone that I personally know. Mrs. Lissa would give the shirt off her back to help someone in need. This time she needs us to help and support her.

Mrs. Lissa is dealing with breast cancer issues/BII. She has a surgery scheduled for November 29th in New Orleans and will be in hospital for 4-7 days and have to stay at hotel there for 1 week after for close follow ups etc. she won't be able to work for the next 6 weeks after her surgery.

Lissa is self-employed and her insurance is calling this a preexisting condition now and denying claims. It has been appealed and no luck thus far. This will have to be paid out of pocket and any help would be greatly appreciated as this is extremely unfortunate and needed for her health. Breast cancer started with her in 2013 so it's been a long road with several surgeries and we're all hopeful these should be the last ones with Gods will.

Anything your heart feels led to give wether a meal or a dollar will be appreciated. If you know Lissa like I do, then you know she'll pay it forward and she has many many times over the years. She has helped several families in the community with BIG fundraising events that she's put together and raised money for.

Lissa's husband John will be with her throughout the whole travel and hotel stay. So, he can help her when she gets out of surgery. They both will have to take time off work.
