Sometimes Superman Needs Help Too

To those that know him know, Our father is one of the most selfless individuals to walk the earth. Our Father has worked side by side with the military to provide soldiers with an escape to come see a race, sit in his office or even talk about their issues with him and he was always there to listen. Our father loved his fly-by’s and National Anthems and was so proud when he organized a good show but never once did he say “I did it” but rather “Our team did it” He was proud to put on an amazing show for the military members in the stands and often cried when the show went exactly how he envisioned it. He would go out of his way, to give those in need, anything he absolutely could give.

As some of you know but most don’t, Our father Robert Pallo has been living with cancer since his first diagnosis mid August of 2004. Just to give you an idea, Kyle was in Elementary school and Tiffany and I were in High school. Dad had fought Cancer, won and was able to walk Tiffany on her senior night at a swim meet. What we didn’t realize that night, That would be the First of 6 battles that he would have to overcome the fight AND WIN against cancer.

Our Father has been a Guinea pig over the course of the fight with trials, tests and hopes. Yet he has come out on top each and every time. He is Currently in our and many friends eyes the 6 time UNDEFEATED champion to cancer. Fast forward 17 years and our father is about to tackle a 7th term battle with cancer BUT, This one…This time has a very unsettling feeling to it. We all have been told this will be the absolute hardest fight he has ever had to fight, However if anyone can find a way to win, It’s him.

Our Fathers medical bills have gone beyond a point of control, not to mention gas and food for the extremely long days spent every other day at the hospital for all this time. Dad would kill us if he found out, so please if you know him don’t tell him we are doing this. Even if you could only give a dollar it would be more than appreciated. Dad always had a saying “Life is wonderful” please help us by helping him keep seeing life as he see’s it through his eyes.
