Song of Jericho: A Battle Hymn of the Millenium

Hello! My name is John Anderson. I'm an independent author and lyricist. One of my favorite types of projects to work on (outside of writing books) is ones like these, where I created new music that takes an avant-garde approach to the medium, mixing elements of storytelling through the lyricism and dynamics of the music. So far, we've created what I would call our 'blueprint' for what type of music we're going for, making songs like The End Time Carol , which came out last year.

That being said, we're raising funds to be able to produce this new song: Song of Jericho, which will capture the feeling present on the battlefield of Jericho while also taking a new approach to the story, mixing in revealed revelations, a multitude of spiritual types, and an epic, heart-pounding experience that'll make you feel like you're on the battlefield. This piece takes what happened back in the natural then and brings it to life in the spiritual now, extending the revelation to what the land of Jericho symbolizes in our time...

Given the medium, these types of projects are among the most important to me. Music is such a powerful tool for telling stories, and as a creative believer who wants to use his gifts to bring people to the Lord, knowing that I can do it through music that's not only good but new, different, and medium-challenging means the world to me. In short, I was put on this earth to be creative, and I believe pieces like these can creatively edify people while also giving them something exciting!

The funds will be used to produce the music in full, meaning that we'll use the money to:

1. Create cover art - $150

2. Cover publishing fees - $55

3. Pay for production costs - $1200

4. Cover the GoFundMe cut - $95
