Sonia's birthday trip to Europe

Dear Family and Friends,

We'd like to help Sonia fund a 1-month visit to Europe for her almost-40th birthday... so, 39th ;) -- mainly to visit us in Berlin, Germany. This is an important transitional time in Sonia's life in which she is considering a new career and moving away from home and familiar surroundings, and we thought some time in a new city would be a big benefit for her life experience. Berlin is a big international city, but it's friendly, safe, accessible and easy to move around in without a car. She will be well taken care of. We have a good network of friends there who will be happy to meet her, some of who she already knows.
