Sonny Gideon's Memorial Funding

Dear family and loving friends,

It is with great sadness we must tell you our dad, Sonny Gideon, unexpectedly passed away in his sleep Friday, January 7th. He had been in good health the months and weeks leading up to his death. The sudden nature of his passing has left us shocked and filled with great sorrow. Sonny always had a story to tell. He loved others unconditionally and wholeheartedly, especially his wife, Sherrie and his sons. His laughter and smile were infectious. Sonny faithfully served his fellow man, working alongside mission groups to provide food, clothing, and other assistance to those in need.

A funeral for Sonny is set for Friday, January 14th at 1:30 pm with a viewing an hour before the service. The funeral will be held at: 

Victory Life Church

1741 W Queen St, 

Hampton, VA 23666 

Sonny had life insurance, but unfortunately it is not enough to cover all of the arrangements.  To help support Sherrie through this already difficult time, we are asking for financial assistance to help cover the overwhelming cost of arrangements, in lieu of flowers and in honor of Sonny.
