Sonnya get to the finish line!

Hi, my name is Sonnya and I am humbly asking for assistance to help pay off my final semester at ASU. For the last three years, I have been taking out student loans to fund my MSW degree, but my loans do not cover my Summer 2023 semester, which is my final semester before I graduate.

As an ASU Online non-resident graduate student, my final semester (6 credits) will cost $4,623.00. I have saved about $3,695 between working and my tax refund, so I’m short $928, but I’m rounding it up to $1,000 to account for GFM transaction fees.

I have been working closely with undocumented youth throughout my entire career, a population I’m extremely passionate about and the need for bilingual, bicultural clinicians to help serve this population is extremely high, therefore my MSW will serve as a step closer towards licensure to serve this population and any other in need of bilingual services.

I currently hold a full-time job, attend school part-time, and am in my 2nd year specialization clinical internship while maintaining a 3.82 GPA, therefore your donation will be treasured as we step through this final barrier together.
