Sonoma State Lacrosse Spring 2018
Tax deductible
When you look up the definition of Blue-Collar you will find the following "dependable and hard-working rather than showy or spectacular." This has been the mantra of Sonoma State Lacrosse for many years and this year is no different.
Our team has been faced with a smaller roster this year than in years past and the schedule has been reminiscent of yesteryear with 11:00pm conditioning workouts, box lacrosse in Novato, and late night practice this spring.
The men of Sonoma State Lacrosse have embraced this with the mantra "bootcamp brother" during these late night sessions. These words remind them they must be willing to work hard not only as individuals but as a team to compete against the best of the best.
The 2018 season schedule features games against some familiar foes and some new ones. The team will face 7 Top 25 teams and 4 teams who qualified for the 2017 MCLA National Tournament.
Building on the work put in by the 2017 team, this squad is expecting to compete with the best in the nation and qualify for the MCLA National Championships in Salt Lake City.
As many of you may know this team is over 90% self-funded coming from player dues and fundraising. As we embark on this year, we are looking for friends, family, and alumni to help us achieve our goals on the field with donations to fund our challenging schedule.
Every dollar counts! Thank you for considering donating to Sonoma State Men's Lacrosse.
