Sonora Collective Season 3 (2022-2023)

Sonora Collective is a New York City--based musicians collective of performers and composers with a passion for uniting music and art. Our mission is to bring live music to artistic spaces and need your support to continue doing so. Through our reimagining of the traditional audience member experience, our concerts have a relaxed atmosphere that encourages the interaction between performer and listener. Our musical programming draws from both classic works to cutting-edge new works, from the frequently performed to the under-programmed.

Recent collaborations include performances at Miguel Abreu, Voltz Clarke, and Fort Makers Galleries, as well as at Norwood Club, an exclusive members-only arts and culture club.

Our third season opens on October 27th with an evening of music for flute, oboe, and strings at Solar Antique Tiles in SoHo, where audience members will be immersed in music and beautiful tiles dating back to the 16th century. In December we are excited to return to Voltz Clarke Gallery for a varied program of music for flute and strings, with artwork by American painter, Holland Cunningham. In 2023, Sonora Collective will be debuting a commissioned work by composer Paul Frucht.
