Sonya and Aaron Picon

Sonya Lewis-Picon is currently in very critical condition at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. She is on a heart and lung bypass as well as dialysis due to complications from the flu. Doctor's are describing her condition as something like or related to the bird flu.

Sonya's condition has steadily gotten worse in the last few days and as you can imagine Aaron has been by her side the entire time. 

I know first hand how expensive it is to be in Asheville for days at a time. Everything is an out-of-pocket expense, then there is the bill that come due at home. Like most families, what little money has been saved up quickly starts to run out.

Graham County has always been a wonderful place to live, a place where friends and neighbors are good to step up and help each other in times of trouble. That's what I am asking you to do for Sonya and Aaron at this time.  Your donations will be used to help them keep their bills paid at home until such time as Sonya can recover and Aaron can get back to work.

Most of all, please continue to pray for Sonya, that the Lord will heal her body and help her recover from this sickness.  God Bless!!
