Sonya "Big Momma" Cox Memorial Service
Donation protected
I have created this page on behalf of the Family of Sonya “Big Momma” Cox. Big Momma passed away unexpectedly on March 31st, 2020. I’ve known Big Momma and her family for many years through one of the most important people in my Life Karen Cox, her daughter. Karen and I met 14 years ago and have been inseparable ever since. We have shared in so many projects, experiences and memories and Big Momma was always there to cheer us on.
Karen’s family has become my family and I became very close with Big Momma, She would call me to complain about Karen lol and to boast and be proud of her as well. We were so close that Big Momma would introduce me to people as her son. I was shocked when I got the call last night that she passed away. She came to a 70's party with us in February and had been doing well.
Today has been a challenging day for the family and it got worse when they found out that her life insurance policy had not matured and won’t be paying death benefits. The following is a statement from the family.
“Our family is deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our beloved mother Sonya Cox. Unfortunately we were unprepared for such a devastating task. If you can please find it in your heart to give what you can in our time of need, we the family would greatly appreciate your time and effort. Love the Cox family”
I know that this is a very challenging time for the world dealing with the Coronavirus Pandemic and many are limited financially. So if you can’t give we understand, but if you can help out, the family will be grateful. All donations will go directly to the family for Big Momma’s final expenses.
Thank you,
-Ram,
p.s.
Love you Big Momma.
