Sooner’s leg surgery

Hi! I’m Dani and I’m raising money to help this pup have surgery to fix his leg.

Sooner, as we now call him, was hit by a car in OK the weekend after Thanksgiving. My friend who hit him couldn’t just leave him, so she loaded him up and brought him to me as she can’t have pets where she lives. On Tuesday, he saw Dr. Kessler at Reynolds road vet clinic and got X-rays and a rabies. His leg was broken in two different places and he was in a lot of pain. So, we got him splinted and some pain management on board. The X-rays were sent to two different vets that will do ortho. One vet said it was too bad for him to fix. The second vet, Dr. Nelson, at Providence in Little Rock said he could do the surgery and will cost around $3,000. Tomorrow we have an appt to have it looked at and potentially do surgery.

This boy is very sweet and we have all gotten attached. He has been posted as lost in OK, but no one is looking for him. We can’t put off treatment any longer. Please help us help him. I know the timing couldn’t be any worse, but if you can spare a few bucks we all would be grateful.
