SOOP Theatre Company's 2024 Annual Appeal!

Hey Everyone - Paul Romanello here! I am the Artistic Director of the SOOP Theatre Company, bringing theatre education and live, professional performances to the lower Westchester area and NYC! We are reaching out, once again, to all of our incredible families, patrons, community members and theatre lovers everywhere.

This marks our FIFTH year in our incredible home, The 530 Studios in Pelham, NY. You may remember the return, post covid, of our OPENING NIGHT GALA event in the Fall of 2022. While we had hoped to bring this fantastic event back to you in the Fall of 2023, a family crisis intervened and our scheduling window closed (will this ever be an annual event???). That said, we still need to appeal (at least once a year!) to your very generous natures and ask for your support.

This season, in particular, brings an urgent need to boost our operations budget and preserve the quality programming and productions that have become synonymous with the SOOP name!

So many of you have given to our cause throughout the last few years, and we are both humbled and grateful, but I don't have to tell you how hard things have been to the small business model - especially where the arts are concerned. Between the long dig out from under Covid and the current economy, it has been hard to keep up! So please share this with everyone you know and help us continue bringing the programming and entertainment that you have come to expect and that we can be proud of!

This season will bring the Acting Company back to NYC with an AEA Showcase production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE for three weeks in May! Check the website for details - I hope to see you there!
