Sopapillas/FBC Emergency Relief Fund for Staff
Donativo protegido
Hello friends and family. Many of our kind regulars have been asking what they can do to help support Sopapillas and Franklin Burger Co. during these crazy and difficult times. If you are one of them. THANK YOU!
Yes, you can place togo orders, delivery or curbside pickup, and if you do that we sure appreciate it. But.. in the hospitality industry many of our employees don’t only live pay check to pay check, but live shift to shift as they live off tips.. Through no fault of their own, 85% of our staff has been laid off with sales decreasing by 80%. Yes, they can file for unemployment (which currently caps at $275 a week in TN).. But it's just not enough. As business owners we have applied for loans through SBA but many of these employees are hurting now. Not two weeks or two months from now.
We have decided to start the Sopapillas and Franklin Burger Co Emergency Relief Fund. 100% of Money raised from this fund will go to current or recently laid of employees. It will be given out to people dealing with the most serious circumstances. If you are in difficult situation your self, please don’t give, and let us know if there is anything we can do to help you. If you are financially secure and want to help some hurting people in our Soapapillas/FBC this is a great format to do so. Thank you in advance. We are praying that we get to the other side of COVID-19 soon. God Bless you and yours. Any amount including prayers will help so much.
Peace and Love,
Steve and Emily
