Sophia's UCA London Cheer Tour

At this summer's Cheer Camp, Sophia was selected to compete, and then was among a handful of girls chosen, by the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) to represent Del Oro High School in the All-American 2015-16 Varsity Spirit Cheer Tour in London!
She will be cheering alongside 10,000 performers before a street side audience of more than one million and a worldwide televised audience of more than 20 million in the LONDON NEW YEAR'S DAY PARADE.
Sophia is scheduled to depart San Francisco on December 26, 2015 and return on January 2, 2016 after spending six full days in London touring such places as Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, St. Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Windsor - all the while practicing her routine for the most incredible event of its kind in the world: the London New Year's Day Parade.
The all-inclusive $4,125 cost of the trip includes air and ground transportation, accommodations, meals, tour guides, sightseeing and admission fees, uniforms and anticipated out-of-pocket expenses.
We already committed the 1st payment of $800 on July 10, 2015. The 2nd payment of $1,200 is due October 6, 2015. The final payment is due on November 3, 2015.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity! Sophia has only been cheering since her Freshman year in high school. To be selected as an All-American is a tremendous honor, and it truly reflects her dedication, commitment and hard work as a positive ambassador of Del Oro High School.
