Sophia Hanley, Registered Nurse Funeral Expense

Hello, My name is Richard Gonzalez, widowed husband and father of two handsome young boys. Alex - 10 years old, and Jeremiah Gonzalez - is 8. Sophia was born on 10/19/1977 and raised in St. Croix, U.S Virgin Islands. She got her Associate's in Nursing from the University of the Virgin Islands. Sophia became a licensed Registered Nurse in 2004. She came to Pomona, California, where she began her journey as an esteemed R.N. working all units at various hospitals. She saved many lives throughout her time as a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and Registered Nurse. She found her home hospital working with the underserved at White Memorial in East Los Angeles since 2017. We met in the summer of 2008, and her charm and caring personality was everything I was looking for. I was head over heels for her. I never wanted to leave her side since that faithful day. In 2009 I presented her to my family and friends. They were thrilled that I had found a keeper. We moved in together that year in North Long Beach. I asked her to marry me at the beginning of 2012; She said Yes! 2 weeks later, we found out she was pregnant with Alexander. I was the happiest man alive. In 2014 we had Jeremiah; I was beyond blessed. Her time here was short because our Al-Mighty God wanted his angel back.

Sadly on October 25th, 2022, our beloved Sophia passed away from an attack in her sleep. One of the saddest days of our lives became a reality. Sophia was loved dearly by her sons, her family and her friends. This sudden loss has devastated our family. Please help us put Sophia to rest in peace during this difficult time.
