Memorial bench in memory of Sophie Dolan

I'm raising £2,500 to fund a memorial bench in loving memory of Sophie Dolan.

Many people would now know that in September 2024, one of my best friends sadly passed away. Anyone who knew Sophie knew she was always the life and soul of every party. Life will never be the same again without her but I thought it would be a great comfort to have a memorial bench in her memory where her family and friends can visit.

Sadly Sophie was in an accident over 6 years ago which left her paralysed and unable to speak. She was able to communicate through letter charts and always told everyone her thoughts and feelings. Sophie made a brave decision to take away her life support so that she could finally be free again. So, this is my little something back to you Soph. Something I feel like I need to do! I will be walking 15.5 miles from Putney Bridge to tower bridge in memory of Soph and to raise funds for the memorial bench. And if you know me, you know I don’t like walking that much haha!
