Sophie Elaine Theriault
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear Sophie Theriault passed away in a car accident on Wednesday night. She was not the driver.
Sophie was a very ambitious, kind, fearless young woman. Her time here on this earth might have been cut short at just 20 years, but the impact she had on those who crossed paths with her was infinite. Those who knew Sophie knew about her love for non-profit work, her love for music, sharing it with others, helping anyone & everyone in any way she could. Sophie was an honor student at the University of Washington. She was driven in both her personal and professional goals, while still maintaining the most humble and genuine personality. She had a huge heart and indomitable spirit. She extended her selflessness beyond many different organizations including:
•Y-WE(young women empowered) : cultivating the power of diverse young womxn to be creative leaders & courageous change-makers.
•West Side Baby: Keeping children warm, healthy, and full of JOY #GiveJOY
•King County CYAB (children & youth advisory board)
•She was on the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network Board.
and countless others.
She was and still is the most vibrant person in the room. We will fight strong on her behalf.

Some of you may be wondering what any extra funds will go towards. We find ourselves asking the same question. WWSD: “What would Sophie Do?”
This was an organic movement from the crowd that has come together through her passing. Sophie would want to raise money for charities that she was passionate about. It just makes sense! And that is what we will do to honor her.
