Sophie Hawley Memorial Scholarship Fund

Sophie wanted to be a pediatric nurse.  Throughout her life, she had a heart disease called Aortic Stenosis.  Sophie passed away on December 20, 2018 of complications from her third open heart surgery.  During her 17 years on this world, she was a wonderful daughter, friend, cousin, niece and granddaughter. Her family and friends held her close and we miss her every moment. Sophie wanted to be a pediatric nurse so she could help kids like her. All money raised will go to Sophie’s new memorial scholarship fund at West Valley HS in Spokane, WA. This scholarship will be awarded by the West Valley Foundation to students who are going into nursing so that Sophie’s dream can live on.
