Sophie Yang Memorial Fund

Shujie (Sophie) Yang passed away in an accident on June 24, 2018. She was 30 years old.
Sophie, a graduate of UBC’s Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures program, became a member of ICCRC in October 2017. She had been working with J. Kenney Consulting Ltd. since September 2017.
Sophie leaves behind her husband, Mark, and their three-year old son, Eden. With Mark’s permission and cooperation, J. Kenney Consulting has established a memorial fund for Sophie that will go to her family, the ones who will miss her the most.
In her short time in our profession, she made a significant impact and we are sure many, many of our colleagues will be happy to contribute to this fund.
