Soraya Medina Legacy Fund

This fundraiser is to honor the life and legacy of Soraya Medina in consultation with her immediate family.

On December 12th, 2020, our loving sister and friend Soraya Medina  ascended into peace. Soraya  will continue to be a source of light for so many, and we will continue to celebrate her spirit and uplift her name. 

Soraya connected to many as an activist, artist, dancer,  community health educator, and healer. The common thread that connects the many community circles in her universe was that they are all working towards creating a better world for her children, her legacy.  She wanted us all to live in a better world.

The Soraya Legacy Fund will directly benefit Soraya's daughters Sienna and Violeta.  Sienna is currently a student at UCLA  and Soraya was immensely proud of her.  There is no doubt that Violeta will follow her sisters footsteps and we hope this fund will help them both accomplish their dreams. 

On behalf of Soraya's family and friends we thank you all for honoring her life and legacy. May Sienna and Violeta see their mothers light, feel her immense love, and be rooted in her strength always.
